About Me
After
earning a Master's degree in Counseling from the University of
Wisconsin-Milwaukee, I began freelancing historical articles. I soon
discovered that I liked writing much more than I liked counseling. A
friend's recommendation eventually led to my editing children's books
and then a dream editing job with Reminisce magazine. In 1999, after my wife, Laura,
and I fell in love with the incredible beauty of the bluff country
along the Mississippi River, we decided to move to the far northeastern
corner of Iowa. After freelancing for 7 years and running a
coffee shop/gallery with Laura, I worked as a a sports editor for a
weekly
newspaper. Presently, I'm an award-winning reporter for the Coulee
News, and Onalaska Life/Holmen Courier,
covering a wide variety of events for the towns of
West Salem, Bangor, and Onalaska, Wisconsin. |
